This notice explains how Bawa Med Limited processes information you provide when using the Health Assessment Pathway Finder. This tool asks you questions about your age, personal health history, and reasons for seeking an assessment in order to recommend an appropriate health screening package.

  • Personal or family medical history flags you select (for example, family history of cancer, heart disease, or dementia)
  • Your reason for seeking a health assessment

This information includes special category data under UK GDPR, specifically health-related information. We treat it with the highest level of care.


4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide solely to generate a personalised health assessment recommendation. Your responses are processed in real time to match you to the most appropriate screening package and any relevant add-ons.

We do not store your responses. Once your recommendation has been generated, no record of the information you entered is retained by Bawa Med Limited.


5. Our Legal Basis for Processing

We rely on the following legal bases under UK GDPR:

Article 6(1)(f) — Legitimate Interests. It is in both your interest and ours to ensure you are directed towards the most clinically appropriate health assessment. We have assessed that this interest is not overridden by your rights and freedoms, particularly given that no data is retained following your session.

Article 9(2)(h) — Health Care Provision. The processing of special category health data is necessary for the provision of health care services. This tool operates under the clinical responsibility of Dr Inderraj Singh Chaggar, who is subject to an appropriate duty of professional confidentiality.


6. Data Retention

Bawa Med Limited does not retain any information you enter into the Health Assessment Pathway Finder. Your responses exist only for the duration of your session and are not saved to any database, server log, or storage system operated by us.


7. Sharing Your Information

We do not share the information you provide in the questionnaire with any third parties.
