WHO IS THIS FOR?

Who is this clinic for?

These conditions are real, physical and increasingly well understood. Managing them well takes a clinician working at the leading edge of the evidence rather than at the end of a referral queue.

Fibromyalgia

Chronic widespread pain, assessed holistically, with current evidence-based drug and non-drug treatment.

ME and chronic fatigue syndrome

Practical strategies for pacing, managing fluctuation and protecting long-term function.

Long COVID

Post-infection syndrome assessment from a clinician who advised the World Health Organisation during the pandemic.

PoTS

Postural tachycardia syndrome, with autonomic testing in clinic including the ten-minute lean test and autonomic blood panel.

Musculoskeletal pain

Joint, neck, back and muscle pain, with diagnostic ultrasound and guided injection in the same appointment.

Work-related overuse injury

Assessment and rehabilitation of repetitive strain and occupational musculoskeletal conditions.

WHAT PATIENTS SAY

Trusted by patients worldwide

I have now met a number of the team and they are so professional, compassionate, and incredibly efficient. They take the time to listen, explain, and make sure you feel supported every step of the way.

I've seen them go the extra mile in my care a number of times. It’s rare to find healthcare that feels this personal and this high‑quality.

As a CEO in a fast-paced, time-demanding industry, I’ve tried several health screening services, but The Private Doctors in Leeds stand out.

They offered a far deeper level of insight, with privacy, comfort, and genuine understanding at the core. What really impressed me was the aftercare; once my health was assessed, they supported me with a clear, ongoing programme.

I have two children registered with Dr Chaggar. A boy and a girl. He has been incredible, responsive and always goes way beyond. We are so grateful for all his help. He’s super with us as parents too.

He has an excellent mix of professionalism and empathy. Highly recommend.

What an absolutely amazing practice. Dr Anna was so compassionate and listened to my wife’s worry’s. She had her bloods tested and received the results rapidly and efficiently, which has really helped her understand what is going on with her health. I recommend this service highly and will be advising my own clients to use it. Fantastic!

EVERYTHING ANSWERED

Commonly Asked Questions

  • Do I need a GP referral?

No. You can book directly with the clinic, which matters for conditions like ME, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia and Long COVID, where referral routes are often slow or unclear.

  • I have been told my symptoms are stress, or in my head. Is this clinic right for me?

Yes. Fibromyalgia, ME and chronic fatigue syndrome, Long COVID and PoTS are physical conditions with a growing research base behind them, research Professor Sivan actively leads. Many patients arrive after years of feeling dismissed, and a thorough assessment is often the turning point.

  • What happens at the initial assessment?

The one-hour appointment includes a holistic assessment of your symptoms, specialist blood tests, and autonomic function testing where relevant, including the ten-minute lean test. Treatment can begin in the same session, whether that is a non-drug approach, medication or a guided injection.

  • Can you diagnose PoTS?

Yes. Autonomic testing is carried out in house, including the ten-minute lean test and autonomic blood panel, with access to cardiology colleagues where further assessment is needed.

  • Do you treat Long COVID?

Yes. Professor Sivan advised the World Health Organisation during the pandemic and is among the leading researchers in post-COVID syndromes. Assessment and management follow the latest evidence in a field that is still developing quickly.

  • What does it cost?

The initial one-hour assessment is £350 and follow-ups are £150. Diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound is £200. Ultrasound-guided intervention is £250 for consultation and scan, or £500 including treatment.

  • I do not live in Leeds. Can I still be seen?

Yes. Many patients travel for the initial in-person assessment, and follow-up can be virtual so that ongoing care does not mean repeat journeys.
